For those of you who don’t speak French, I’ve translated it.

Valerie mixes personal and fashion posts. She wears a size 50/52 and just want to prove that you can be curvy and well-dressed. She feels good in her body and wishes it’d be contagious.

- What are your fashion tips so that a curvy woman feels good?

I think you have to dare, dare to try new styles and find the ones that suit us the best. They are no miracle wether you are curvy or not. If you feel good in your clothes you’re almost there!

- What about colors?

Of course! People have to forget the stereotype of the curvy woman all dressed in black.

- The fashion faux-pas of a curvy woman?

I’d say wear clothes that are too large to hide your body. It might seem like a good idea but in the end it really makes you look larger.

- Is there one thing you shouldn’t wear?

I think that as long as the cut is made for curvy women there are no limits. Leggings, dress, skirt, biker jacket,… I say no to nothing!

- In which outfit do you feel the most comfortable?

For the last couple of years I have ditched my jeans for dresses. I think they are way more feminine and comfortable to wear.

- Your flaws / body parts you’re proud of?

A few years ago I’d have said my legs. However today I feel good about my body and I don’t have nothing to hide. And I love my long hair.

- If I am curvy, it’s because I am more…?

(OK this doesn’t translate well) Bloomed? lol You know like a flower. Yay for no word in English!
